Energy for peak performance. View food as fuel

When you have fuel, you have the energy to perform at your best and feel your best. Any fitness or surf coach who suggests fasting or avoiding carbs is setting you up for significant consequences in the long run!

When you deprive your body of the fuel it needs, it becomes catabolic, drawing from and depleting lean muscle. This compromises your ability to handle the stresses of daily life and training effectively, hindering full recovery. Fatigue, depression, inflammation, injuries, and hormonal imbalances can result.

You want to perform your best in every situation. You want the energy needed to stay mentally focused and physically strong. You need fuel to perform, recover, and win!

FUEL. BUILD. PROTECT. PREVENT.

  • Fuel - minimally processed. High - fiber carbohydrates that provide sustainable energy

  • Build - lean proteins that provide the body the building blocks for repair and recovery

  • Protect - healthy fat that nourish brain and decrease inflammation

  • Prevent - colorful fruits and vegetables that provide the fiber, vitamins and minerals

  • and Hydrate!

So, just as you plan tides, make sure to pay attention to your nutrition and make the best choices possible
