The next generation of Indonesian surf talent lit up Kuta Beach this past weekend for the National Final of the Rip Curl GromSearch Indonesia 2025.
Under the tropical sun and with perfect small-wave conditions at Halfway Kuta, young surfers aged 16 and under put on an inspiring display of style, flow, and competitive spirit.

The Rip Curl GromSearch is all about finding and supporting the future of surfing. This year’s Bali edition brought together the best young groms from across Indonesia and Southeast Asia — all chasing one goal: the national title and a ticket to the International Final.
Across two action-packed days, Kuta delivered fun waves, great crowd energy, and plenty of reasons to believe the future of Indonesian surfing is bright.
